Crafty idea
So the other day I find myself in the middle of the boys section trying to find a long sleeve shirt for my son. Unfortunately, he is very particular and could not find any long sleeved shirt. Instead I bought a graphic short sleeve shirt.
Next to the department store there was a Goodwill and I decided to get in and browse. Then, as I was looking, it hit me; why not get a nice long sleeved shirt and take off the sleeves and attach them to the short sleeves graphic t-shirt. So this is what I end up doing. I have enclosed a picture for you to see in case any one of you might find yourselves in this kind of situation. Now my son loves his new shirt...problem solved

Just finding time
For any of you who are following my blog, I apologize that I am writing so sporadically. I am still making jewelry in my spare time. As many of you might not know I am in the process of finishing my bachelor degree in Biology. Finding time to design seems to be my biggest challenge. I have started many projects and some of them are in the process of being completed. Eventually I will finish them all.
My one problem is that the items that I made so long ago lost their appeal so I have been decomposing some of them. Is it just me or every designer runs into this problem? For now these are some of the items that I have managed to finish.

Another Etsy listing
So I added another listing to my etsy account.I have been inactive for a while, but now I am trying bring myself back. I am designing new jewelry while destroying the old ones. As time goes by the old jewelry lost their appeal to me, so now it is time to reinvent my designs. Hope you like this new one as I plan to ad some more in the nearest feature.

Happy Ester
So, I have not blogged for a long time. I have been so focused to finish my degree that I neglected my other passion:beading . I have been making jewelry in my spare time, but did not have the time to put them up for sale. With that being said I have not had sales, nor have I been promoting my shop. I know I should find time, but it seems to me time is the one thing I cannot find anymore. I have been making hair clips, and earrings, since I wear a lot of them. I am experimenting with new designs and hope to do better in the future, as I need the money to pay off my school. Here are some more of the designs I was working in my spare time. Leave a comment if you like them. I will try to put some more stuff on Etsy as well. In the mean time if you are interested in something feel free to send me an e-mail.

Hello!
I haven't used this in a long time and I feel guilty! I should post more!
Well I'll start this post off by saying 2009 ended up to be a good year because one buyer bought a lot of things from me! It was such a great surprise! I hadn't been doing too hot that year and ending it that way left me happy!
Anyway, earlier this week my daughter assembled a mini book to show off to people when they ask me to see my work! It's much easier showing a variety.
Here's some pictures! Printed on this pretty glossy paper that came with the kit. My daughter came up the idea. We were in InkStop which was having great discounts due to going out of business. She brought it to me and said it would be great to show customers pictures rather than a piece you just happen to be wearing. She decided to assemble it and here's how it turned out!

Thank you cards.
Yesterday I went and made copies for thank you cards. I have 48. 24 have a canvas texture to them, and the other half is card stock.

The canvas textured ones look really nice and have a really nice feel to them.

The card stock ones look cleaner. You can see all of the details that I put into it.
I love them both. I can't wait to use them! (So buy from me so I can send one! :P)
On the back of them, I'll inscribe a personal thank you note written in my purple fountain pen :)
